Primary Focus:

PTSD / Trauma / Incest / Rape / Assault /

Scope of Practice:

I work individually with teens to older adults. Primary areas of focus are Identity issues (gender, sexuality, life transitions) and trauma (childhood, assault, rape, physical, psychological, and cultural). Sex and poly and kink positive.

Values and Philosophy:

My practice is client focused and existential. Finding your individual meaning so that you can make healthy choices is key. I use mindfulness as a key component to to help you make sense of your self and your life so that you may be as present as possible.

Techniques and Methodology:

As an Existential Art Therapist it is important to me to create a safe space where we can explore what is happening in your life currently and how the past may have impacted the present. I use art therapy as a modality, just as I use talk therapy. To gather and organize information. There is no need to be artistic to work with art therapy, simply an openness to explore things non-verabally.
