I see individuals and partners/couples age 18 and older.
I work from a strengths-based, collaborative perspective where you, not I, are the expert on your life. My practice is social justice focused, identity-affirming, sex-positive, kink- and poly-aware, and conforms to WPATH standards of care.
I work from a variety of different theoretical viewpoints, primarily attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy, family systems theory, feminist therapy, and I like to incorporate neurobiology whenever it is appropriate. What I believe, and and a growing body of research supports, is that the relationship between therapist and client is really where the rubber meets the road. Let's find out if we're a good fit!
