I offer individual therapy to adults wanting to heal unresolved childhood trauma and intergenerational trauma, addiction/recovery, intersectionality, racial identity, marginalized communities, codependence, ancestral healing and somatic processes.
I value inclusion first and foremost in the work that I provide. Focused on actively breaking down language and cultural barriers through respect & trust building. I offer a place for honouring the lived-experience of all through seeking out a multitude of views and voices; demonstrating flexibility and fulfilling commitments you make towards the future that you want for yourself. Philopshy is that the power is within you to heal. You all have experienced trials that have tested the belief in hope and optimisim about life but you also a history of resilience, strenghth, overcoming, and coming out the other side. I believe that harnessing that resilence in a holistic, honest and real way can help enhances your wellbeing.
I focus on working psychodynamically with my clients, analyzing the whole person, not just a cluster of symptoms. Giving and receiving honest and reasonable feedback along with psychoeducation. Together we will explore your life experience early on, examine patterns of relating and will refine your goals to cultivate a satisfying and meaningful life. If you are looking for a therapist that challenges you to find your base, helps you build your hope, gather your strength and genuinuely wants the best for you then I look forward to working together with you, while you explore, learn, and evolve into the person you want.
